Carroll County Politics: Stephen Barrett has entered the Maryland State Senate District 4 race in 2022

We have a new candidate running for Maryland State Senate District 4 in 2022: Stephen Barrett. As a reminder, District 4 currently covers much of Frederick County and part of Carroll County.

Stephen showed up for this race on October 8 and his website and Facebook page are up and running today.

Now he joins Bill Folden, who is also running for Senate in District 4 after retiring from the delegate race.

Jesse Pippy was the first to announce a Senate candidacy in District 4, but withdrew his candidacy in late September.
